All this waste, we have to ban it, if we want to save our planet!
On 18th May, we were visited by a representative from WEEE - Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. They have been developing a pilot project in national schools for raising awareness and increasing collection levels of small household WEEE. They have visited a number of schools nationwide since April 2006 with great success. They have donated a refurbished recycled computer to the schools that have participated in the programme.
Lots of people made use of the blue recycling bin that we were provided with. There were lots of irons, video machines, old DVD players, toasters, tape recorders, televisions and computers
We have installed our computer in the office for Mrs. Parsons.
