This year has seen the introduction of a fun new reading initiative in St. Catherine's, called Buddy Reading. On Fridays at 12pm members of 5th and 6th class read to the Infant classes and 3rd and 4th classes read with 1st and 2nd classes. It has proven to be a great success. The Infants really love their big friends coming down to read to them and eagerly await their visits.
The teachers have all noticed the emegence of some budding new teachers! Watch this space!
