Getting ready for Spring
As usual now in St. Catherine's the children always have the opportunity to plant sping bulbs and hope that they bloom! Our class take care of the flower beds in the back yard beside the door. This year we planted dwarf daffodils, tulips and crocuses. Unfortunately, the bad weather stopped us from planting all the bulbs, but we hope the ones that were planted will bloom in the spring time.

As with last year, we planted hyacinth bulbs in class. Some of the older boys helped the younger pupils with this task. When they bloomed there was an amazing smell in our classroom!

We also re-planted some spider plants to sell at the Christmas Fair - I had one amazing little helper for this job. We had to re-plant some aloe vera plants too.
