Planting
This year has seen the flowerbeds in school being assigned to different classes to plant, weed and keep! We have been given the two long flowerbeds outside the back door.
Mrs. Jordan bought lots of bulbs to plant. First we had to sort them and catagorise them according to their colour!

We also planted cucumbers. Hopefully they will grow and we can eat them!

The instructions had to be read by one of the older boys before we started.

When we knew exactly what to do, we got to it!

Unfortunately, the cucumbers didn't survive over the Easter holidays!
When we went outside, we had to clear all the weeds from our flower beds. One of the boys found some creatures!

When the beds were cleared we added more soil and then we started to plant the bulbs. We had to dig a hole and put each bulb deep in the ground.

We also repotted some of the baby spider plants in the hope that they may continue to grow strong.

Lately, we have planted lavender seeds and Chinese lantern seeds. Hopefully they will grow strong enough to be replanted in our flower beds!

There are some very good workers in our class!
