Hyacinths

Back in September we all started thinking about Spring flowers. We all have bulbs growing in the classroom. They are hyacinths. We put them in glass vases so that we can see the roots growing, growing, growing and growing!

 

First the children had to put just the right amount of water in each vase - this was a lot harder than you would think! When the bulbs were all in position, each child decorated their own sticker - just so there'd be no confusion!

 

We can't wait to see them bloom and smell them.

 

 

Hurrah, Spring is here!

There is a gorgeous smell in our classroom.
