St. Catherine’s is going for its second green flag which is the energy flag and third and fourth class have been learning about energy trying to figure out what it’s all about. The first areas they looked at were renewable and non-renewable energy. Renewable being all the lovely clean ones like solar energy, hydro power and wind energy (all those beautiful wind turbines dotted around the country) and the non-renewable ones that cause all the CO2 like the burning of fossil fuels and electricity generated by non-renewable resources. We have a lot more work to do with regards energy so please give an eye on this page for updates.
